Calvo
He was born in Astorga (Spain) and started studying trumpet at the age of seven in the Conservatory of his hometown. He finished his ten-year professional music degree at the age of eighteen, and between 2003 and 2010 he graduated in Telecommunications Engineering and Philosophy. In that period he also played with some classic music ensembles and cover bands, touring around many places in Spain.
He studied languages in Antwerp (Belgium) as an Erasmus student for a year (2008-2009) and he moved back there in June 2010, right after he graduated in Philosophy. He has lived in Antwerp ever since, working as a freelance musician. In these years he has taken part in countless artistic projects, not only writing and arranging music, but also performing in many different events in Europe, America, Asia and Oceania with both music and theater performances. He has taken part in the recording of several albums as well.In October 2021 he started studying for a Master degree in Cultural Management at the University of Antwerp.
