Studied percussion with Yoel Del Sol in La Havana, Cuba, and afro percussion in the Jazz Studio in Antwerp.

Gabriel co-founded with his two brothers the salsa-merengue and bachata band Proyección Latina ; and later New Latin Project, playing Puerto Rican salsa.

He was a member of different bands in Belgium : Siempre Moreno (fado and world music), Proyecto Secreto (reggae and ska), Savana Station (funk and pop), Maguaré (retro cumbia), La Malquerida (Tex-Mex), Havana Sur (salsa timba) and Quantum Café (latin, fusion cumbia).

Gabriel has worked with big names such as Leki, Tattoo del Tigre, Sven van Hees, Pieter Embrechts & the New Radio Kings, Marvin Gaye Tribute Band, Metejoor…

For the moment, he works as percussionist with  Gregor Terror & the Calypso Gigolos (calypso from Trinidad y Tobago), Skala B Music from Cuba (traditional Cuban son), Maria Dolores Band (latin retro bossa) and Sindicato Sonico.
